Following enthusiastic uptake and after removing more than 13,000 older, more polluting vehicles off London's roads, all funding has now been claimed. From 2019, these schemes have supported low-income and disabled Londoners, small businesses and charities to scrap or retrofit their older, more polluting vehicles, giving Londoners more than 2 years to prepare for the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). Many vehicle owners have already taken action, with 87% of vehicles travelling in the expanded ULEZ zone now meeting the ULEZ emissions standard.

There are a number of options available to owners of vehicles that do not meet ULEZ standards, such as walking, cycling, using public transport, car clubs or replacing your vehicle with a cleaner one.

If you have already applied, you can find out how to upload more information to your application or what to do once your application has been approved for your vehicle type.
